About Us

Energy Coalition New York is comprised of seven investor-owned New York State electric and natural gas utilities.

The coalition consists of: Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation; Consolidated Edison Co. of New York Inc.; Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.; National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation; National Grid; New York State Electric & Gas Corporation; and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.

Energy Coalition companies provide essential services to residences and businesses throughout New York State through the operation and ownership of most of the State's electric and natural gas infrastructure. Energy Coalition members are a vital part of the economic fabric of New York State, employing more than 32,000 people, serving more than 8.5 million customers, and paying more than $3 billion in state and local taxes, assessments and fees. Additionally, Energy Coalition members contribute tens of millions of dollars annually to community and charitable causes.
